Loved it and could totally picture it! Thanks for keeping us out there in spirit. Happy belated birthday too! I'm with you on where did the year go?? Same old work and Silicon Valley that we left years ago. I did a couple century bike rides this year (100 milers in a day). Jim's on two hockey teams. We volunteer now at the local animal control authority and try not to adopt all the animals or sponsor a wing! Jim's very into cooking now and quite awesome at it I must say. I am so grateful for God's little gifts like Jim taking up cooking! Hugs to you both. Have a happy and healthy 2012.

You're living the life... enjoy!!! We're back in the game: working, working out, visiting friends, family and taking vacations. We just chartered a catamaran in the BVI's over Thanksgiving. We never sailed one but figured if we could make it across the Pacific we could surely figure out a cat. No problem. Keep the blogs coming, love reading them and seeing the pictures. Give our best to Rob. Miss you guys!!!

In checking the tsunami warning center, you should only see as much as a foot in PV. That could still be interesting though at the dock. Let us know what happens. My mom lives on the Big Island of HI and she's wearing her water wings now!!! She's not in a tsunami zone but just in case, she's ready.

I missed your last blog with the waterspout photo (where you also referenced my last comment). Hey, while you may not be enjoying the crazy weather this season it is giving you good stuff for your blog both in writing and pictures! Thanks for sharing.

From what I read over here in HI, it's all about El Nino this year. Hawaiian Islands are having a drought along with the biggest surf in a decade, all because of El Nino, so they say. PNW weather this winter is very typical El Nino weather.
So, normally El Nino comes and goes, but one fear here is that it's coming more often and, if you really want to worry, some say it could become the norm!
